What abundance looks like

by Hilda on February 17, 2010

The picture above is a depiction of Abundance that I found on a blog about three years ago. Sadly, I can’t remember whose blog it was and all I can tell you about it’s writer/artist is that she is female and (in my opinion) very talented. I loved her paintings.

I’ve posted it here as a reminder to me to consciously centre myself in a mindset of prosperity and abundance. Sadly, for reasons unknown to me, for the last few weeks my pics aren’t properly displaying here. But I hope to get this rectified soon, and that on your next visit you will be able to clearly see this lovely image of abundance.

The irony is that on my computer, the picture is completely blank. I hope that’s not me projecting what my idea of abundance looks like :)

Don’t worry Cris, it’s not you! That’s precisely the problem I’m trying to resolve. Hopefully in a day or two you’ll be able to see it!!

I am not sure what your picture is really – but all I know about abundance is you have to let go of all the things that do not make your heart sing and therein you will find the room for the abundacne you have always wanted…

Hi Fran,

You’ve just used one of my favourite phrases! Whenever I’m tempted to buy something but not certain (maybe the temptation lying in it’s being a bargain more than anything else), I often ask myself if it makes my heart sing. If I can answer yes, then I buy it. If I answer no, I walk away. Thanks for your comment, and reminding me of this simple yet valuable key.

I’m laughing about what Cris said, but on the other hand, maybe it means that abundance is so infinite and all-encompassing that it is everywhere we look… Therefore we don’t always see it.

Ah – HA! (I sort of like that!)

We are all abundance. I have a quick meditative practice I do where I breathe out “I AM THAT” (while thinking about wealth & abundance) and then breathe in “I AM.” I can actually feel myself as a magnet for abundance.

LOVE THIS! Thanks, Hilda!

Hi Megan,

I like the sound of that practice, I’m gonna give it a try. Thanks for sharing it :-)

I cant wait to see the photo when it’s available, but the blank picture reminds me that abundance is all around us.

So a blank picture is creating waves around the internet??? Just read the comments….LOL!!! I can’t believe this. I must be working too hard myself. I should be publishing blank posts…and the response may just be as amazing!!!

Hi Carla,

your point is perfect! Abundance is everywhere, all we have to do is see it. So glad you can see it even if the picture is blank!

Hi Evelyn,

It is interesting the response the blank pic is drawing. Maybe it represents the void that draws all abundance to us ;-)

But while I’ve been trying to get the issue sorted, I’ve rediscovered Shine The Divine, and I have an inkling Laura’s site may be where I pinched it from!
