Meditation

What is meditation?

Meditation is a tool for rediscovering the body’s own inner intelligence. Practiced for thousands of years, it’s not about forcing the mind to be quiet, it’s finding the silence that’s already there and making it a part of your life.

Meditation is easy to learn!

You don’t have to be able to empty your mind of all thoughts in order to be able to meditate successfully. In fact, thoughts are a normal part of the process and indicate the release of stress.

Meditation is comfortable to practice.

It doesn’t require sitting in uncomfortable lotus positions. We sit on a chair in a comfortable upright position (but if you wish to, you can sit on the floor or on a meditation cushion)

Meditation is not a religious practice.

If you have a spiritual practice, meditation will reinforce your connection with the Spiritual domain, but it does not have any specific religious connotations and can be practiced by people of all faiths and none.

How will Meditation affect my health?

Nowadays, doctors are increasingly citing stress as a major contributing factor to most illnesses. Eventhough meditation should not be considered a cure by itself, research has shown it to be beneficial for a wide range of health problems. As stress is greatly eliminated through meditation, our minds and bodies begin to function with maximum effectiveness, creating health, vitality and happiness.
